Meet Attorney Christine Vazquez & See How She Serves Clients At The Firearm Firm

Meet Christine Vazquez, one of the attorneys at The Firearm Firm who brings both legal skill and a teacher’s heart to the defense of individual firearm rights, self-defense cases, and immigrant rights. In her words, “being involved in a community with a particular focus is very rewarding,” and that focus comes through every day in the way she serves our clients and our broader firearms community.

Why Christine Loves Serving Florida’s Firearms Community

In her bio video, Christine introduces herself simply: “I am a bilingual attorney at the firearm firm.” From there, she goes straight to what matters most to her—how we serve the people who call us.

She explains, “We have helped countless clients, potential clients, or just people with general questions. We really take a hands on approach.” That attitude reflects what we aim to do at The Firearm Firm: meet people where they are, whether they already have a case or just need clear answers about their rights.

Christine talks about how our work extends beyond the office and the courtroom: “It’s very common to see us at the gun range or at community centers, giving seminars, talking to individuals who may not necessarily be our clients, but are just really looking for guidance.” When you watch her in the video, you see someone who enjoys talking through real situations, not just reciting legal rules.

Real Conversations, Real-Life Scenarios & You

For Christine, the most rewarding part of her work lies in real human interaction. She shares that we receive “so many calls and inquiries from the public” and that “it’s fun to hear the individual stories, to hear the feedback, to go through real life scenarios.”

That outlook fits naturally with her background. Before she became an attorney, she worked as a certified teacher in Florida, served as a union representative, and received nominations for Teacher of the Year three years in a row. Now, instead of a classroom, she uses those communication skills in consultations, seminars, and strategy sessions for people facing some of the hardest moments of their lives.

When she walks through those “real life scenarios” with someone, she draws on more than just legal training. During her time at The Firearm Firm, Christine has trained in evaluating use of force decision-making, assessing imminent threats, and understanding human performance in the use of force. That training supports the careful, fact-driven analysis she brings to each self-defense or firearms-related matter.

Education, Not Just Litigation

One line from her video captures Christine’s approach better than any summary: “And it doesn’t have to be a battle. Our focus here is to really educate the public and to defend the public when it’s needed, and to educate the legal system on what individuals are allowed to do, what they’re not allowed to do.”

That sentence reflects how she sees her role inside and outside the courtroom. She works with U.S. LawShield members and our clients on firearms and self-defense cases, but she also spends time explaining the law in clear language. Whether she speaks to a packed seminar at a range or to one worried family member on the phone, she strives to turn fear and confusion into understanding.

Her law school years show the same drive to inform and advocate. Christine served as President of the Hispanic American Law Student Association and Vice President of the Immigration Law Society, then continued her studies in Salamanca, Spain and at the UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education in Delft, Netherlands. Those experiences helped shape the global and cultural awareness she now brings to Florida courts and communities.

Bilingual Advocacy & A Passion For Justice

Christine describes herself as a bilingual attorney, and that part of her identity runs throughout her work at The Firearm Firm. Of Cuban and Puerto Rican descent, she welcomes cultural diversity and fights for the “zealous defense of all clients,” especially those “caught in a legal crossfire.”

Her commitment to immigrant rights appears not only in her current practice, but also in the time she has devoted to pro bono work. She has volunteered as a translator for unaccompanied minors in immigration court in Orlando and represented clients through her law school’s Advanced Immigration Clinic. Earlier internships with the Carolina Refugee Resettlement Agency in Charlotte and with the School Board of St. Lucie County exposed her to the challenges many families face when legal systems feel distant or confusing.

Today, that background adds depth to her work in firearms and self-defense law. She understands how a criminal allegation or self-defense incident can threaten more than someone’s record; it can affect immigration status, employment, and family stability. Her membership in organizations such as the American Council of Second Amendment Lawyers, American Immigration Lawyers Association, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Florida Association for Women Lawyers, the Orange and Seminole County Bar Associations, and the National College of DUI Defense reflects her active engagement across the areas of law that touch our clients’ lives.

How Christine Fits Into Our Mission At The Firearm Firm

At The Firearm Firm, we focus on Second Amendment rights, self-defense law, and firearm-related issues throughout Florida. Christine’s practice sits at the heart of that mission. She defends individual firearm rights, handles criminal and self-defense cases, and advocates for immigrants who may face unique risks when accused of a crime or involved in a defensive incident.

Her description of our work in the video—“working with a team who has such a particular focus, is greatly knowledgeable in this particular area of law”—mirrors what we see in her every day. She brings her own training in use-of-force analysis, her background as a teacher, and her experience in immigration advocacy into a collaborative environment where every case benefits from the combined efforts of our attorneys.

When you reach out to us, you might meet Christine at a seminar, speak with her after a presentation at a gun range, or talk to her during a consultation. However you connect, you will find the same person you see in the video: direct, thoughtful, and committed to walking through your questions one scenario at a time.

Get To Know Christine Before You Call

Christine says, “I really love what I do here. It’s been great.” That simple statement carries the weight of years spent teaching, studying, and advocating for people whose rights stand on the line. It also captures why many of our clients feel comfortable opening up to her about what happened, even when the situation feels overwhelming.

If you want to put a face and voice to the name before you call (321) 425-8961, watch her bio video above. You will hear, in her own words, how we “educate the public and…educate the legal system” about what lawful gun owners can and cannot do, and how we stand ready to defend those rights when needed.

When you are ready to talk about a firearms, self-defense, or related criminal matter, Christine and the rest of our team at The Firearm Firm are here to listen, explain your options, and stand by you through every step of the process.
